Mark Wilson, a former football coach of Waukegan High School, is honored as the representative of the coaches of America. Otto Graham, college All American, professional All Star, head coach of the United States Coast Guard Academy and of the Washington Red Skins, who was one of the boys coached by Mark Wilson, appears throughout the film.
