The films contained multiple unrelated section. first section: Serra Hikers First Hike, 1913 Group of male hikers in scout-like uniforms preparing and setting off on a hike. Hikers eating, setting up camp, boxing for recreation, loading wagon, washing, etc. second section: Political news reel regarding the building of the Hetch Hetchy Dam. Senator Phelan (former San Francisco mayor) congratulates Mayor Rolph on the Dam’s building and anticipated success. Lots of shots of mayor, senator, and city supervisor shaking hands. politicians.
