Rx for Learning

Illustrates the efforts of the teachers to place the individual student within the system of Individually Prescribed Instruction, calibrated by the teachers at the Oakleaf Elementary School and the behavioral scientists at the Learning Research and Development Center at the University of Pittsburgh. Shows the derivation of detailed specific behavioral objectives for each phase of reading, math, and science in the curriculum. Examines the problem of reorienting teachers to become prescribers of learning experiences instead of dispensers of information.
