Description: Combining archival footage, interviews and exotic celebrations, this film examines the ancient origins of the Jews of Morocco -- their Berber roots, Spanish heritage and long co-existence with Arabs in a Moslem country. Investigates the impact of colonialism on Arab-Jewish relations and follows the Jewish exodus to Europe, Canada and Israel where the Moroccan Jews are waging a struggle for equality in Jewish society.
