Ware rebukes common reasons for not wearing a seat belt and breaks down the physics behind the real danger to drivers and passengers during a traffic accident—colliding with one’s own car. Shown in drivers’ education classes in multiple countries, Room to Live is the most well known of the seven traffic safety films Ware produced. He won National Safety Council Awards in 1979 and 1982 in recognition of his work.
