Complete Record: A film that explores the woman’s role in the 1970’s US workforce. A woman sings about changing gender roles in the workforce, while shots of women doing “uncharacteristic” jobs flash by: building, bus driver, ship captain, helicopter pilot, trash woman, director, reporter, butcher, welder. Shots of traditional women’s work: cooking, cleaning, typist, child care, seamstress are spliced in. Film ends with a man in his pajamas attempting to make and serve breakfast to his wife and unruly kids.
