Description: Explains that about 200 years ago, a Japanese man wrote a book about a mechanical doll. Shows how Professor Tachikawa of Kitazato University made a doll which could serve tea. Points out that an artificial hand called a 'WASEDA-HAND' has been improved at Waseda University, which can grasp a paper glass of water. Emphasizes that improvement in robotizing, leads mechanical engineering and industry towards a highly mechanized civilization.
