Road to Canterbury

Description: Malcolm Muggeridge, follows the Pilgrim’s Way from Southwark to Canterbury Cathedral, a route made famous in Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales. It traverses the whole range of 20th century England from the slums, through new housing estates to historic towns. The group discusses the question “Is a belief in God important today?” and visit some institutions on their way to try and help find the answer.
