River journey on the Upper Nile

Description: Examines the Upper Nile from Malakal to Juba in the Sudan. Describes the Shilluk and Dinka peoples of the region and how they are unable to produce enough food to subsist and are forced to acquire additional supplies from Juba. The film follows the journey made down the Nile River to Juba during the rainy season and shows the conditions of the regions which the river flows through.
