Description: Presents an adaptation of the work, 'RITE OF LOVE AND DEATH (YOKOKU),' which is based on a historical incident of the 1930's pre-fascistic period. Shows how an officer in the elite guard is asked by the emperor to execute a number of his peers after an attempted coup d'etat. Faced with traditional Samurai conflict of divided loyalties, the officer maintains honor in the only way possible for him - suicide.
