Description: This silent raw footage of a 1997 back-to-school advertisement produced by Damon Crump for Waco’s Richland Mall depicts a group of youths doing a variety of cool things. Boys and girls check each other out, play frisbee, and stroll around Baylor University’s scenic campus. In downtown Waco, they climb a fire escape by the Alico Building and get a rooftop view of the city. With canted angles and zooms, not to mention some bomb fashion, the vignettes deliver a late-1990s MTV-style.
