Description: Automobile collision tests using anthropometric dummies with and without seat belts and harnesses show vividly the effects of impacts with windshields, doors coming open, bodies being thrown out, and other reactions to collisions at forty miles per hour. Stop-action scenes are used to analyze the characteristics of various types of windshield glass in accidents. A helicopter is used to drop an automobile 78 feet to illustrate a terminal velocity equal to a forty-mile-per-hour collision.
