Eric Hoffer reaffirms his belief in the benefit of reading a great number of books on a variety of subjects. He describes his continual visits to public libraries in search of various authors and calls this purely 'ACCIDENTAL RESEARCH.' On the subject of writing, Mr Hoffer disavows any claims of being a great author, but he does claim that'. . .you never know what you have until you write it down.'.
