Description: Presents three cases to illustrate that the method of pyeloplasty best suited to the individual case must be determined at the time of surgical intervention. Illustrates the classical approach, in case one, used with high ureteral insertion with no intrinsic stricture at the uretero-pelvic junction. Portrays the preservation of an aberrant blood vessel supplying a major portion of the kidney in case two. Depicts the utilization of the Schwyzer-Foley modification combined with ureteroneopyelostomy in the correction of a uretero-pelvic junction stricture.
