Description: Introduces the terminology and concepts of probability through an animated spoof on comic strip super heroes. Shows how the hero, Lester Nowin, receives his powers by rubbing an amulet which can be set to grant his wishes a certain percentage of the time. Points out that with a given probability there is no way to determine the outcome of a given event; however, in the long run, the outcomes will occur with the predicted frequency.
