Description: Episode of Series “Searching for values: a film anthology”. An extract from the feature film “Bridge on the River Kwai” in which Sir Alec Guiness as the Commanding Officer refuses to give in to the Japanese over the issue of not allowing his officers to work. Raises issues surrounding pride and its consequences. Suitable for middle and upper secondary levels.
