Complete Record: A filmic portrait of the Netherlands. An older man attends to his windmill as his wife tends to their goat. Cool windmill shot as it turns... nice sound too. The man inspects the windmill to see that it is working properly. As the windmill turns, we catch various different glances of the landscape. Church bells ring and the camera focuses on several objects such as wooden clogs, souvenirs, etc. Many shots of different people doing their daily work. The town center has lots of beautiful buildings. Boats. ships on the coast. Fishermen work on shore and on the boats. They are building a levy? Again, we return to the man and his windmill(s). Men work hard to pull in ropes on sailboats. Fishermen pull in their net full of fish. The sea looks a bit angry. We see daily life on the streets. Lots of people on bicycles in the road with the traffic. Giant ships being constructed in the town. Some nice shots of the ship as it’s launched into the water.
