Practical organic chemistry: simple techniques for the preparation of solids

Description: Demonstrates the preparation of organic compounds taking place in three stages: reaction isolation and purification. Phenol reacts with benzol; chloride with alkaline solution to give rhenyl benzoate; solium chloride with water. All steps in the isolation of phenol and acetophenone semi-carbazone are demonstrated.
