Description: A cinema-verité portrait of Ed McAteer, an architect of the Moral Majority and president of the Religious Roundtable, a national organization which combines religion with conservative politics. It is in part due to McAteer's entrepreneurship, marketing skills and commitment to his cause that the religious right has become a strong force in American life. The film shows McAteer at home, traveling cross-country to raise money, giving speeches, meeting with prominent conservatives like Nelson Bunker Hunt, Senator Jesse Helms and the Reverend Jerry Falwell and appearing on television.
