Description: A presentation of alternate methods of providing flood control on the Big Sioux River other than by ditching and diking. Proper land management and upstream impoundments are offered as more satisfactory flood control methods than straightening the river. This film should be of interest to any state fighting to preserve the few remaining natural rivers as wildlife and recreation areas.
