Description: Describes a system for using polar coordinates for graphing functions such as the equations for circles and rose curves. An angle measured from a base line and a distance from a pole (point) from an ordered pair which lables a point in the same way that an ordered pair (X, Y) label a point in the Cartesian coordinate system. Shows how the two systems are related.
