Description: Presents the varied methods by which plants reproduce emphasizing those found in flowering plants. Demonstrates vegetative means by budding and stem grafting. Uses close-up views of the parts of a lily flower and through photomicrography shows the stages of meiosis in the development of a male gamete. Through the use of models shows the development of the female gamete and exhibits slides of the egg cell in the ovule. Traces growth of the pollen tube and the production of the endosperm tissue.
