Description: Silent 16mm film of the forgotten semi-pro sandlot football team from the Pittsburgh area, the Rox Rangers. Specifically, they were based out of McKees Rocks Pennyslvania, hence the McKees Rocks Furniture sponsor on the jerseys. "Esplen" is also written on the reel, so I assume that is where the game took place. Neat slow-motion shot with fumble featured at 8:51 First 4 minutes is color Kodachrome, everything following is B&W. I am unsure of the team they are playing against in yellow. While the film stock dates to 1945, I figured it had to be from 1948 as you can see a newspaper that says "SUN. NOV 14" at 2:07.
