[Music] be sure you get the right cattle this job ticket  and don't forget the timeout no I never forget the timeout how'd you do today it's a lot different  than running of press over stamping huh my friend a job is a job a machine is a machine there's not  much difference well we're glad to get you over here anyway I don't know if you're interested  but but I got an idea how we can speed up this operation oh now look all these pieces vary just  a little bit right what's the matter with this guy why doesn't he just do his job well let it go  at that well Jim you might have something here we've been satisfied with things as they are but  well check with to lead in the morning and see what they say you do that and look I don't like  to complain I'm the easiest guy in the world to get along with but you know something a guy wastes  an awful lot of time around here scrounging his own material over at stamping we had a kid that  did that all this kid did was to go around to see and huh wait a minute Jim we like it this  way we want a free operator to sign for his own material ok ok just trying to help over yeah  there's one other thing it has to do with these counters they never do jive with what's in the  box it makes it hard to figure the job ticket you know what I mean anything else I'll let you  know if there is boss you know me helpful Harry [Applause] what's the matter Jim can't you take it yeah I  can take it but who wants it I like an operation that's run right nobody thinks around here  you know what I mean here you tell them how to do something to save time and money and  where does it get you are they still go on doing things just the same old what is this  Jim a penile discussion on how I should run my department no no not exactly I was just  telling the boy yeah I know I'd like to have my say about four o'clock this afternoon in  the office yeah yeah boss yeah sure sure sure hey Peter can I see you tomorrow but the guys  in the carpool oh wait this won't take long I didn't want to call your hand in front of the  other fellows at noon but we've got to settle some things first of all I want you to know  there's nothing wrong with your work you're a good worker and I'm glad to have you here it's  always good to have an old hand around you know that but your attitudes gonna have to change you  can gripe all you want to out of the shop the way you were doing at noon but get this straight  if you really got something worthwhile to say say it to me first one thing I won't stand for is  complaining to the other men about how I run the shop okay let me say something go ahead without  you getting sore let's try I keep getting the feeling that you don't want anybody to suggest  anything because you didn't think of it does it bother you to have somebody else around here who  knows something I have no objection your ideas good or otherwise but I don't like the way you  present them and I and the noise you make when they're not accepted well why don't you have me  transferred back to staffing well there you are bill that's it that's the whole story I don't know  what else to tell you well what do you want to do about it transfer them send them back to stampy  that's what he asked for can't do that why not well for a number of reasons they didn't want  to let him go in the first place remember now they've hired another man they don't need him  what's more you do yeah but not as a lunchroom blowhard Pete don't you think this might be just  a matter of adjustment a personal thing the guy is nothing but trouble since the first day I got  it right off the bat you guys didn't click maybe there's something in the way you handle him why  don't you get him to one side and talk it out I tried that I just don't seem to get through  to the guy well the transfers out you asked for a man we gave him to you he's a good man oh  sure you've got a problem but you had problems before you've always solved them I'm sure you'll  think of something let me know how it comes out now what do I do with Jim  [Music] [Applause] [Music]
