Description: The work of a halfway house in Sydney, providing accommodation for young people referred from other agencies such as prisons and psychiatric hospitals. The residents stay for approximately a year, find a job, pay rent, and find in the house a stable environment to help them over the acute stages of adjustment, with the opportunity to interact amongst themselves and with outsiders.
