It begins with sights in Rio de Janeiro, including Copacabana Beach, the Christ the Redeemer Statue, and Sugarloaf Mountain, and Maracana Stadium. This is followed by an overview of the architecture of Brasilia, including shots of the Palacio da Alvorada. The film contrasts the modernity of Brazil’s cities with its natural beauty, with stunning footage of Iguazu Falls. Towards the end, the film returns to Rio for a large Carnival party. This film was made by F.D. and I.L. Kay of Film Authors Productions, who also made a related film about Brazil for Pan Am.
