Our bushfire menace

Description: Episode number 8 of Series “Wild Life”. A classroom account of destruction caused by bushfires. In the Australian bush, fire is the greatest menace to wild animal life; on the farm, fire destroys cattle, sheep and homesteads and helps the start of soil erosion. The causes of bushfires are shown and methods of prevention listed. The film concludes with a blackboard revision of the content of the film.
