Description: An historical record of the development of the machinery and arts of the motion picture, from the earliest suggestions of Leonardo da Vinci to the perfected sound motion picture of Edison. Scenes as early as 1880 are included and reference is made to the work of Plateau, Daguerre, Muybridge, Marey, Edison, Armat, Dickson and others.
