Operation navy help

Description: Shows the Navy’s role in the monumental task of clearing up and restoring safety to Darwin in the aftermath of Cyclone Tracy. The first help to arrive to the stricken city was HMAS Brisbane with one thousand men and tons of food and other supplies. Shows naval personnel cleaning up rotting food and debris, evacuating citizens, guarding valuables and property and making buildings safe to use.
