Operation Behavior Modification

Describes the program of the Parsons State Hospital and Training School in Kansas for trainable, educable handicapped which is based on a thorough program of behavior modification through operant conditioning. Follows the program from its initial collection of data and setting of goals, through the training of the girls, to their eventual placement as working members of the local community. Details the use of tokens, and later money, for reinforcement as the girls are trained in the areas of personal appearance, occupational skills, social behavior, and functioning in a community setting.
