Many theater personalities are shown as well as meetings of various acting schools, the collections of the Museum of the City of New York, Actors Equity Association, I.A.T.S.E., Margo Jones' Dallas Theater in the Round, the Playwrights Producing Company. Charles Boyer and Jed Harris appear in a rehearsal for Red Gloves. Margaret eventually gets a part in Anne of a Thousand Days starring Rex Harrison and Joyce Redman; rehearsals and opening night are filmed.; PFA 1608-04-291.
