Focuses on a group of sixth grade boys who take an elective course in infant care. Boys learn to hold, diaper, feed, bathe, clothe and love real babies. Should help develop caring adults., The guidance counselor of a boys' school announces to his sixth-grade class that a new elective course on infant care will be offered during the coming semester. After debating the issue among themselves, some of the students sign up for the course. The babies arrive at the newly formed classroom/nursery and with the aid of their instructor, Janet, the youngsters learn to hold, diaper, feed, bathe, clothe and play with the infants. The attitudes of the students toward the course are partly shaped by their own home situations.
