Complete Record: Animated short, history of domestication of cats. First looks back to ancient Egypt. How Egyptians domesticated various animals. Shots of man trying to feed cat fish while it is being very cautious and curious. Used the cat to turn on rodents to protect food supplies. Views the cats as a symbol of greatness. Worshipped as a god. Cats given funerals. Mummified with milk and rats for the journey to the afterlife. Later on Cats overpopulated and had bigger population than the people. Cats were even smuggled by merchants. In other countries cats are not as greatly renowned. Cats would also breed and migrate and create various types of cats over the years. Next Domestic Cat roots starts in the middle ages. Common house hold pet but had to earn being a pet in service. Dealing with Rats who plague the streets eat food and spread the black death plague. Shot of the cat silently creeping up to rats and attacks in surprise. Later cats were feared and not regarded so well. Goes into the time of witch-hunts, and superstition. Because it was a night creature many times it was a suspect of evil spirits and now condemned as a devil when once it was regarded as a god. Shot of people carrying torches as cat escapes. Many cats have been killed, but still survive and are still well known, going into how the household cat is in many modern homes today, Many different variations of how they look. Ending on how cats own man not man owning cats.
