Notes On A Biology Watcher: A Film With Lewis Thomas

Introduces award-winning biologist Lewis Thomas, who explains that all human cells are inhabited by remnants of ancient organisms that took up residence millions of years ago. Offers an intimate portrait of individuality and interconnectedness in nature, examining the courtship of blue crabs, ferocious fights between sea anemones and tiny worms with even tinier plants thriving inside them.
