NOT ONE TO SPARE.

"Not One to Spare" deals with the closeness of family ties. A hard working farmer and his wife, in spite of a difficult struggle to support and educate their seven boys and girls, find great happiness in the fact that they are all gathered beneath one roof. This contented atmosphere is jeopardized when the farmer's wealthy brother offers to provide a home and income for all of them if they will alow him to rear one child as his own. After a severe mental struggle, the father and mother decide to send him their eldest daughter so that her musical talent may have an opportunity to develop, but at the last moment they find the strain of parting with her too great to be borne, and the family remains happily united.
