A view of the school dropout problem, developed from a script first written by a high school student. Christopher Wood rebels against the dull round of drill, memorization, and routine - the lack of anything meaningful in his education. His desire to drop out is an implicit indictment of the education system, which fails to appeal to bright students who want something real, not just a piece of paper.
