New sounds in music

Description: Presents fascinating new sounds and new ways of treating old sounds. Chance music, tape music, synthesiser music, and other 20th century approaches are heard. Some newly invented string and percussion instruments are demonstrated and finally we go to the Mills College Tape Music Center for a presentation involving new instruments, musicians and “new” music.
