The story of Joey Grant, age 10, who attempts to resolve his conflicting feelings about his parents' separation. Assuming that the divorce is his fault, Joey decides to write a contract. He believes that if he mends his ways, his dad will come back home. Finally, he understands that although his parents no longer live together, they still love him.
