Mutton birds

Description: Episode number 12 of Series “Alcheringa”. First Nations people gather eggs and hunt the mutton bird on small coastal islands. The birds are removed from their burrows, killed and plucked before being loaded onto bark floats to be carried through the surf back to the campfire.
