Description: Evelyn Lambart's fanciful animation preserves the charm of the old folk ballad, which is the film's narration. Lyrics are sung by Derek Lamb to lute accompaniment. Mr. Frog proposes marriage to Miss Mouse, who must get consent from her Uncle rat. The wedding breakfast takes place under an oak tree, a bumblebee provides the music and the fleas dance. When it's all over, the entire wedding party sails across the stream, only to be swallowed up by a big black snake.
