Description: Japanese architects are using traditional materials such as wood and bamboo in conjunction with concrete, steel, aluminium and glass, and are thereby creating a distinctive new architecture. Works of Mayikawa, Ashihara, Yoshida, Origuchi and Kenzo Tange are shown.
