Complete Record: "Here is important news for wage earners and their employers beginning February 1st 1968. The new federal minimum wage is $1.60 an hour for those workers whose minimum wage was $1, forty cents an hour, also beginning February 1st 1968. The new federal minimum wage is $1.15 an hour. For those workers whose minimum wage was $1 an hour. Overtime pay is required at a rate of not less than one and one half times the employee's regular rate of pay unless specifically exempt.
