Methods of water rescue

Description: Episode of Series “Advance Australia”. A team of schoolboys demonstrate, both on land and in the water, methods of rescue, release and resuscitation. Shows methods of rescue for calm and struggling patients; release from the clutch of a panic-stricken patient; rescue methods for an unconscious patient; resuscitation by the Schaeffer methods; restoration of blood circulation by massage of the limbs. The film concludes with demonstration of a number of fancy swimming strokes.
