The dozens of antique cars pictured are real ones, and most of the action is authentic, also. It comes from vintage newsreels and photographs, and from zany chase sequences in old movies. Emphasizing America's love affair with the automobile, Groucho says, "We didn't know where we were going. We only knew whenever it was, we were going by car."
