Description: Features archaeologist and historian Yigael Yadin of Hebrew University conducting a guided view of the excavations at Megiddo, Israel, (the Armageddon of the New Testament) which have revealed the ruins of 20 successive cities. Uses animation to help visualize the development of the tells and decribes the methodology and theory guiding the research as laborers are shown carefully uncovering architectural remains and salvaging artifacts. Explains and shows the architectural and cultural clues which tie together the excavated cities of Megiddo, Hazor, and Gezer as parts of Solomon's kingdom (a finding guided by Yadin's interpretation of I Kings 9:15-19 in the Old Testament).
