A behind-the-scenes look at the prodigious production process that yields a daily soap — in this case ABC's "All My Children." Host Ruth Warrick (who plays Phoebe Tyler) tracks the creative evolution of one dramatic scene, and soap writer Pete Lemay talks about the rigors of writing for the form and the potential impact of soap operas on our culture. Produced by Kit Laybourne and Mickey Lemle for WQED, Pittsburgh.
