Description: A high school student goes to a vocational counselor concerning the possibility of becoming an engineer. The tests given him by the counselor show that mechanics appeals to him and that he has the necessary aptitudes. The boy is advised to take courses and part-time jobs to develop these aptitudes, and to read about mechanics and engineering. The counselor assures him that such knowledge will be useful even if he does not become an engineer.
