Description: Made by an unknown American filmmaker named "Bart", this film "Mass Insanity" aka "Acid Trip" presents a psychedelic vision on celluloid. The film features various techniques to enhance its reality, including time lapse and fast and slow motion. It was apparently filmed in New York State, San Antonio (the Skylon Tower is visible at 5:48) and also in Contra Costa County, California in the eastern San Francisco Bay Area. The soundtrack was added and is not original -- this film is silent but must have had an accompanying cassette tape (now lost). Some of the more interesting or fantastic visual imagery includes a record turntable (10:25) that apparently kills its user, a skier on a summer day creating snow (11:07), a stoner party with hippie guests smoking marijuana cigarettes (14:30), and Niagara Falls in slow motion (17:50).
