w oh [Music] [Music] w [Music] say this breakfast looks great nice job guys it's not eggs muffin hey Jeff would you thank God for the food sure dear Lord thank you for this food and think that we could have a neat time camping like this and help Mr Davis as he tells us the things that we're going to do in Jesus name amen how do you dare just pray out loud like that with all the guys watching watching most people keep their eyes closed when they pray let's dig into that grub yeah hey two guys Jeff ER come on let's eat you guys want to know something what is it this time dream boat I saw something last night something fantastic sure you did like yesterday on our hike you saw three deer except no one else did and you scared some of the guys away from swimming because you said you saw a water moccasin and cool it will Eric what' you see tell us man what' you see I saw a spaceship a real UFO came down real close just like they were watching our camp maybe out all different colors of Lights it is really something you saw what a spaceship came down real close just like they were watching or Camp maybe it had all different colors lights it was really something was it from Mars or Jupiter maybe it came from the Sun why didn't you stick out your thumb Marty you could be the first space hitchhiker in history most people hike during the day hey Marty did you hear your spaceship [Music] w [Music] [Music] [Music] gather around the White Rock here I I'll explain today's activities today we're going to explore another part of the world as we learn through games to become more familiar with what guys your age do in other countries Dave has played a lot of cricket in his country and he's going to show us all about it today okay guys now as already said the idea of the game of cricket is for you as the batsman to defend the Wicket with the bat okay the idea of the bowler alternatively is to make you make a mistake so that you either knock the bails off okay with the ball by him bowling it you either get caught out you either get hit on the legs with you standing in front of the Wicket or you get run out okay now in the game the Fielding side is Led mainly by the bowler he'll bow from this end okay he'll Bowl six balls at a time six balls being What's called the over okay he bow from here coming up the technique being very different from baseball if he throws his arm or if he brings it across below shoulder height it doesn't count it must be over the top all the time he's trying to aim with this arm down the Wicket and Pitch this ball here just short of the batsman's feet okay moving on to the batting side the batsman when he comes up to the crease he will take a position to his leg side he set the bat down he line him himself up against the bowler the idea here is for him to defend the Wicket with the butat the bowler balls he positions himself ready watching the bowler he can lift his butt if he likes just to get his timing the bowler balls he steps forward tries to play the ball away okay throw throw throw well done okay ready this this is real neat Mr Davis you guys getting the idea of the game sure have you seen Marty around I'm getting a little concerned about him no I get interested in cricket you know Jeff you're the kind of guy God could use to help somebody like Marty and he sure does need help I'll go look for him hey Marty you can get lost man I know my directions this guy from northern island is showing us how to play cricket come on it's neat you're out Mar ball hits the stumps you're out Cricket's a lousy game you're a lousy player hi I'll play you he'll just beat me [Music] [Music] okay Eric will you read today's verse for us right here okay be kind and compassionate to one another forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you Ephesians 4:32 okay anybody got an idea what that verse means don't all talk at once do you have any thoughts Jeff well like you said in Sunday school and like it says in the Bible Jesus forgave us before we were even born all we have to do is accept his forgiveness and accept him as our savior and another time we talked about well forgiving people means maybe not getting mad at them in the first place or if somebody does stuff that you don't like instead of knocking the guy or make fun of him try to figure out why he does what he does once you said the reason people criticize is to cover up their own weaknesses would you read today's verse for us again dick sure be kind and compassionate to each other forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you what does it mean to be compassionate got an idea Ben isn't that like not looking for things to criticize in other people be kind and passionate to one another forgiving each other just as in Christ God you read the Bible every night try to ever read it out loud sure want we to read it out loud now this is love not that we love God but that he loved us and sent his son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins dear friends since God loved us we also ought to love one another no one has ever seen God but if we love each other God lives in us and his love is made complete in US you understand that I'm doesn't really see UFOs just imagine some you believe there are UFOs don't you Mr Davis there's been lots of sightings reported I don't think the problem is whether or not they're UFOs the real problem is our friend Marty do you think Marty knows the Lord I asked him if he did what did he say he didn't answer me the guys in our Sunday school class all say they're Christians except I guess Marty but the way they act sometimes she makes you wonder makes Marty Wonder too it's that way with too many Christians isn't it yeah tell you what Jeff why don't you keep real close tabs on Marty for a couple days sure would like to help him go on Marty they won't hurt you well just get scared and fly away go on go on don't worry go [Music] [Applause] on it's nice sh you got there you too where'd your heart to the Lord Jesus being a Christian doesn't make very much difference for most of the guys in our Sunday school class hey Jeff yeah what Marty oh nothing how were you going to ask me well you don't believe I've been on a spaceship do you do you d [Music] on I'll show you that I'm telling the truth that way this B should comes from that way [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] you guys all claim to be Christian don't you sure do you think this was Christian it's just a joke Mr Davis a joke or were you trying to make Marty look foolish remember our Bible study about forgiveness Marty's the way he is very likely because of problems he had as a small child he needs our help would you kick a lame man because he couldn't walk or blind man because he couldn't see okay you guys hit the sack night I'll go find Marty I guess it is kind of me picking on them like we do you think we could get the guys to go easy on them sure I was talking with Mr Davis we talked about whether there really are spaceships you know from other planets and stuff you don't believe I wrote on a spaceship I wouldn't lie to you honest the truth I wouldn't honest the truth Jeff we talked about how they're called UFOs and stuff like that you know what UFO means sure unidentified flying object Mr Davis said sometimes people are like unidentified flying objects they're sort of mixed up they don't know who they are they do crazy things to get attention you know what I mean people like that need the Lord to help them he made everybody for a special reason everybody's important to the Lord Marty get what I mean yeah let's go easy on Marty I mean if he's not even a Christian yet we got to help him put your back right no put your hands put your foot right there and put that one inside it come on come on must be sincere hate what is evil cling to what is good be devoted to one another in brotherly love honor one another above yourselves this is where it's add in the Christian Life fellas first of all really caring about each other our needs remember what we studied about the meaning of forgiveness that forgiveness includes not looking for bad things in others for things we can criticize or make fun of but remember you can't begin to live the Christian Life until you've received this life through personal faith in the Lord Jesus the guy is really being nice to Marty that'll make it a lot easier to help him if our theory is correct and I think it is yeah if anything happens I'll come for you right away e for [Music] [Music] that you Jeff [Music] d [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] hey Marty [Music] [Music] w [Music] you're not really going on a spaceship you're just [Music] dreaming e [Music] that was dumb I thought for sure I saw spaceships and riding them I've had dreams that seemed awfully real I was just walking in my street dreaming I've talked quite a bit with Mr Davis you know he teaches psychology in high school thinks I need to go to a shrink to get my head examined Mr Davis thinks you're a UFO I'm what remember how we talked the other night at UFO and an unidentified flying object like you've told me you don't think you can be good at anything you think you're not important everybody's important Marty God doesn't make anybody that's unimportant walking in your sleep and having those dreams well that made you really feel like somebody but it was with somebody you really aren't that's not the way you do it God has the only way when you trust in Jesus you can become what God wants you to be that's what's important like Mr Davis said the other day remember a guy could become the best football player or heavyweight champion or maybe a great scientist even the president but if you don't know Jesus I heard become a Christian like you huh Jeff what you do is see yourself at the centner like Mr Davis showed us from the Bible all sin right right you should believe in the Lord Jesus isn't that in the Bible sure is believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved I think I'd like to become a Christian you help me I sure will Marty I even brought my new testament along [Music]
