Description: Fairbanks stars as Steve O'Dare, a rancher and former New Yorker, who has returned East to sell a shipment of cattle and horses. Reuniting with old friends, O'Dare chides his city pals by telling them that there is not a single thrill to be had in Gotham. Eager to prove him wrong, his former college buddies wager $5,000 that if Steve stays on for one more week, he will experience the excitement he craves. O'Dare is lured to a house to sell his livestock and receives information that leads him to believe that a young woman, who attracted his attention in a cafe, is being held captive. Intent on her rescue, O'Dare, in typically Fairbanksian fashion, performs all manner of acrobatics to liberate the purported damsel in distress.
